Kyle Wallbaum (He/Him/His)

I am a counseling intern in my final year at the University of Illinois-Springfield’s Clinical

Mental Health Counseling Program. My approach as a counselor is taking a compassionate,

accepting, and nonjudgmental lens to create a safe environment for each individual to express

and explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences. Working collaboratively to set and work

towards your therapeutic goals, develop a toolbelt of healthy coping strategies to manage life’s

stressors, learn to develop compassion towards yourself, increase self-awareness, and work

towards personal growth.

I am currently accepting clients of all ages for appointments on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
