Pepper Brown & Associates, a group private practice in Springfield, is looking for a licensed clinician (LPC, LCPC, or LCSW) to provide therapy to clients of Pepper Brown & Associates. The population currently treated includes: adult individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, life transitions, grief/loss, and couples struggling with communication issues, infidelity, loss of connection etc.

Candidate must be independent, driven, willing to grow their referral base and community recognition, collaborative, and tech-savvy (99% paperless practice). New hires will have employee status.

Renting Space

Fully licensed clinicians looking to rent office space to run an independent private practice. Private offices with shared waiting room space, break area, and play room. Networking opportunities with other clinicians in the suite. We try to get to know each other and refer to one another. Consultation is available to help answer credentialing and billing questions.

Join the Group Practice

W-2 employment status (not a contractor position) for LPC, LCPC, or LCSW licensed clinicians. This position is ideal for someone who wants to focus on clinical work in an outpatient private practice group setting and is not interested in the billing side of a psychotherapy practice.

Internships

Pepper Brown & Associates occasionally provide internship opportunities for graduate level counseling students. We are an approved site for HDC students at UIS. Candidates must have higher levels of autonomy and developed self-directed learning. Our practice does have a few referral streams but our intern candidates will need to work toward marketing and building their own clientele.

The Practice Provides:

Anticipated stream of referrals
Insurance billing and claims submission - Electronic Health Record system
Credentialing with our in network insurance companies as part of the onboarding process (the practice is in network with most major insurance companies and Medicaid)
Supportive environment
Comfortable office space with access to shared waiting room, break room, and play room
Flexible hours/scheduling
Malpractice insurance (many therapists choose to have individual coverage as well, but it is not necessary)

Position Requirements:

Master’s or Doctoral Degree
Active, unrestricted State of Illinois license as a PsyD, LCSW, LMFT, LCPC, or LPC (provisionally licensed)
Willing and able to work at least 15 session hours per week
Regular and reliable attendance and timely arrival to work
Completed CAQH profile and approved as an in-network provider on Pepper Brown & Associates-affiliated insurance panels and EAPs (in order to commence employment)
Manage client contact and scheduling (we do not have office staff and manage our individual schedules)

Position Preferences:

Prior private practice experience is a plus
Training in an evidence-based couple’s modality is a plus (Gottman, EFT, etc.)
Presently paneled with BCBS (or other insurance panels) is a plus
